  • Hey Doc- you don't speak much about thoracic pain- do you threat the pain and muscle spasms att the L3-L4 level-I had a cervical (3 discs) ACDF with fusion 20 months ago and my life has been hell..I don't sleep and no medication seems to really help or last very long-I have also had 4 other spinal fusions in the Lumbar area in th elast 20 years.......I am so scared that pain will rule my life- I don't really have a life.
Although I have had metal implants, the pain is really located in the mid-back- severe tightness and muscle spasms..I have been to 3 PT's now and am seeing a pysiatrist.
My last hope is Prolotherapy (just had a phenol block on each side of the thoracic area). If you can help me I would be so grateful-otherwise, thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

  • Hey Doc,
Love your info. I just blew out my knee skiing and found that I am developing Low Back Pain. Can this be related to the knee injury or possible from the fall? Can decompression help with my back in this case?
